Roche Sports Complex

Dawn Tibbetts Potter Arena houses three basketball and volleyball courts and a fitness center. In addition, the building houses the John “Jack” McAvoy Natatorium with a combination pool/diving area, a sports medicine facility, four racquetball courts, a fitness room, and a varsity strength training room. Hayden Park

Hayden Park is located at 1620 Barber Drive, east of Slayton Arboretum. Encompassing 190 acres of rolling, partially wooded farmland, Hayden Park features miles of trails, sand volleyball courts, a driving range, and an obstacle course. It also provides a place for mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and general outdoor recreation.

Margot V. Biermann Athletic Center

The Biermann Center features a six-lane 200-meter running track along with throw and jump areas, as well as four competition tennis courts. The Center has community walking hours Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Hillsdale College Bookstore

Located on the upper level of Grewcock Student Union, the Hillsdale College bookstore features a wide assortment of Hillsdale College-themed apparel and gifts, school and office supplies, textbooks, and faculty books.

Slayton Arboretum

Located ¼ mile east of the Dow Hotel on Galloway Drive, Slayton Arboretum is a 48-acre garden and natural area. Its grounds feature two ponds, fieldstone buildings, two gazebos, a Children’s Garden, nature trails, and a waterfall. The Arboretum is available to rent for wedding ceremonies. J ohn A. Halter Shooting Sports Education Center

Located five miles from campus, the Halter Shooting Sports Education Center features four American trap fields, a five-stand sporting clays field, a small arms range, a skeet field for both American and International skeet, an international bunker field, and a lodge and education center. The Halter Shooting Sports Center is located at 4390 Bankers Road, Hillsdale, MI 49242.

Grewcock Student Union

The Grewcock Student Union houses A.J.’s Café 1844, the Knorr Family Dining Room, Richardson Commons, the Student Activities director’s office, the Collegian office, the Raese Conference Room, a formal lounge, the Hillsdale College Bookstore, two TV lounges, and the student mail center.

Hillsdale College Admissions

Admissions welcomes visitors throughout the year, with options including individual visit itineraries, group visit programs, and summer tours. Individual visits are best for seniors and those visiting from a great distance, as they offer a more personalized experience. Group visit programs are excellent introductions for sophomores and juniors, or for those who might especially enjoy meeting other prospective students during their time on campus.
